My earth day tip is for those who have babies to use more of Cloth diapers rather than the throw away ones ...

Prompted by Paragraph Cove's innovative use of old, discarded books, my tip is to give old throw away things a second look. Flip top mayonnaise jars are particularly useful containers, and the tubs that hold the tab type dishwasher detergent. Living on a farm, this type of thinking has served us well many times. For example, we make our own feed scoops from old bottles w/ strong handles, deep lids are perfect for measuring out dog food, etc.

My Earth Day tip is to crochet your own dish cloths using organic cotton instead of using sponges, you can wash them again and again instead of tossing out sponges!
