Last weekend, my Mom and I drove to Portland for Crafty Wonderland.  We perused the booths, loaded up on business cards, and said hello to friends vending at the event.  Here are my favorite booths and handmade goodies...

day at the zoo

 My mom, sister and I visited the zoo Saturday afternoon.  It was so beautiful with all the flowers in bloom!  We had an great time snapping pictures and doing voices for the animals.

I had a little impromptu photo shoot with my friend Jeremiah's cat last week.  His name is Hank.  He was very corporative and friendly.  I look forward to working with him in the future.  ;)

I drove up to Seattle a few weeks ago with my friends; Kris, Drew and Paul.  Kris was playing a show at Columbia City Theater.  She brought down the house.  Check out her music, here.

Drew and Kris are currently on tour with their bandmates, Drew Grow and the Pastors Wives.  They are touring with Wild Flag for another week or so.  Check out dates, here.

holiday festival

For the past month I've been searching for a holiday bazaar that would be a good fit for my stationery line.  I was excited to come across this event on Facebook.  The Russell Street Holiday Festival is being hosted by Icon Tattoo in Portland on December 5th.  This event is a benefit for p:ear.  "p:ear builds positive relationships with homeless and transitional youth, ages 15 to 24, through education, art and recreation to affirm personal worth and create more meaningful and healthier lives."  Watch this video to learn more about what they do.

Artists and crafters involved in the holiday bazaar are donating items for the silent auction.  Preview the items here.

these boobs are made for walking

This Saturday I'm participating in the Making Strides Breast Cancer Walk in Portland. The team I'm walking with is called, These Boobs Are Made For Walking. I wish I could take credit for that one...pretty funny stuff.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is our opportunity to honor and
celebrate breast cancer survivors, educate women about early detection
and prevention, and raise money to fund lifesaving research and
support programs to help fight breast cancer.

My goal is to raise $100 for the cause. Every little bit helps. If
